2024 is not only a year of upward growth but also a year of innovation and improvement. In February, a batch of excellent proposals emerged at the ChunQiu Group Hefei Manufacturing Base. These proposals not only had methods, ideas, and implementation but also generated benefits, helping the company save manpower, reduce costs, and improve quality and production efficiency. To encourage all employees to participate in proposal improvements, spark more good ideas and proposals through communication, cultivate employees' awareness of improvement, and foster good habits of continuous improvement everywhere and at all times, the ChunQiu Group Hefei Manufacturing Base Proposal Improvement Sharing and Commendation Meeting was held at Hefei Jingwei Electronics on March 30, 2024.

01 Upward and Innovative, Continuous Improvement

The commendation meeting began with Jingwei Management Department Director Ren Nana hosting the event. She first welcomed Jingwei Deputy General Manager Yan Hongbing, Automation Department Deputy General Manager Zhou Yunguo, Boda Precision Special Assistant Li Junsong, Jing Shen Precision Factory Manager Cheng Lei, department supervisors, and colleagues who won proposal improvement awards. Then, host Ren Nana explained the background, significance, and purpose of the proposal improvement and reported the number of proposals, completion rate, and approval rate of the three companies at the ChunQiu Hefei Manufacturing Base in February.

After listening to this proposal improvement sharing, Deputy General Manager Yan warmly congratulated and affirmed the outstanding employees who received commendations. Then Deputy General Manager Yan mentioned the current pain points of our proposal improvements: 1. The level of proposals needs to be improved; we should improve a category of problems through proposals, not just a single problem. 2. There should be internal evaluations and competitions among the three companies to continuously spark better ideas and improvement measures. 3. Our lean production team must persistently explore improvement projects, promote the operation of the entire project, and build the company's core competitiveness.

Deputy General Manager Zhou explained several excellent projects shared this time from a technical perspective by giving examples. He pointed out that our company still has many projects that can be improved. We need to penetrate multiple processes, open up thinking, spend more time on-site, ask "why" five times, participate together in improvements, and pool ideas to achieve practical results. Deputy General Manager Zhou stated: "Ideas are the most important. We must integrate technology leadership and production services into specific measures for 'potential excavation and efficiency improvement,' let improvements take root, focus on our duties, extend horizontally and vertically across production processes, deepen and perfect improvements, and strive for breakthroughs and innovation."

Special Assistant Li mentioned that our proposal improvement projects have always been difficult projects for the company. We should not see this as a task but gain a sense of achievement and satisfaction from improvements. Today, we also saw the happy emotions when everyone shared, which is precious. Some colleagues have already gained a sense of achievement and happiness from proposal improvements. We must continue to maintain a humble and cautious attitude, avoid arrogance and impatience, keep details in hand, improve everywhere, and become more and more perfect.

Factory Director Cheng expressed affirmation and praise for colleagues who have already shared on stage and those preparing to share. Director Cheng mentioned that through this sharing and recognition meeting, many proposals were seen not only applicable to Jingwei and Boda but also usable in Jingshen. Moving forward, we need to encourage grassroots employees to actively participate in improvement work, not limiting it to small groups, but enabling all employees to have improvement thinking and awareness, breaking fixed mindsets, and cultivating good habits.
