The TPM system at the Spring and Autumn Hefei Manufacturing Base is officially launched!
2025-08-01

On January 20, 2025, a milestone moment was reached in the digital transformation journey of Spring Airlines Group's Hefei Manufacturing Base—the TPM system was officially launched. The system development took ten months, from front-end research and development, to mid-term functionality implementation, integration, UAT testing, and finally successful deployment. This marks a solid and powerful step forward in the strategic layout of digital transformation at Spring Airlines Group's Hefei Manufacturing Base, building an efficient, scientific, and systematic management foundation for the company's long-term development.
At the meeting, Director Zhu Meili from the IT department introduced the TPM system, including the meaning of TPM, design model, objectives, and system management architecture.

Over the past year, the IT department has focused on advancing the informatization construction work across various manufacturing plants. Specifically, this includes the development of core systems such as TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) system, SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) system, management cockpit platform, learning platform, and AI application exploration. At the same time, assistance was provided to the Vietnam and Chongqing plants to build basic information systems, such as HR (Human Resource Management), OA (Office Automation), and MES (Manufacturing Execution System). Additionally, investments in information security have been strengthened, with close attention to personal and company data security and network early warning security.
The introduction of digital systems has significantly improved enterprise efficiency and flexibility. Through automated processes, manual errors are reduced and task processing accelerated. It optimizes data management, making information collection, storage, and analysis more efficient and accurate, supporting data-driven decision-making. Meanwhile, digitalization promotes remote collaboration, enhancing communication among teams regardless of geographic location. This greatly increases productivity and competitiveness, reduces costs, improves decision-making efficiency, and empowers the enterprise.

In 2025, the IT department will focus on building core systems including MPT, SRM, APS, mini MES, and P-WMS according to the "Five-Year Plan" of the informatization strategy, while continuously increasing exploration and investment in AI applications. Currently, in enterprise-level AI applications, we have achieved certain results: through natural language processing (NLP) technology, we can understand and analyze most key indicators in manufacturing daily reports and automatically provide accurate result analysis to users using generative SQL. In the future, we will further expand AI application coverage across all company areas, leveraging AI agents to provide customized services for different business scenarios, thereby comprehensively improving operational efficiency and service quality.

Message from General Manager Xiong:
Four years ago, Director Zhu and I jointly formulated a "Five-Year Plan" with the goal to transform the enterprise into an intelligent factory . Facing increasingly fierce market competition and changes in the external environment, transformation became an inevitable choice, and improving production efficiency became crucial. To address the complex overseas factory layout, high internal consumption, and equipment idleness, we proposed a solution to improve equipment utilization rate and initiated the development of the TPM system guided by this philosophy.
The growth and improvement of any system require time, TPM and the system is no exception. It not only requires our continuous investment but also needs user feedback from actual use to drive iterative updates. After ten months of dedicated development and relentless pursuit, we are steadily moving toward the goal of a smart factory. Throughout this process, we have always adhered to the belief of enhancing the company's core competitiveness.
To adapt to the ever-changing market, we timely adjusted our mindset, relied on in-depth data analysis as the basis for decision-making, strengthened quality management, and promoted the implementation of lean production. " Without learning, one will be eliminated; without progress, one is regressing ” , I hope team members will keep striving and working hard together to create a brighter future.
